An Update from us on COVID-19
Dear family of patients,
For this weekend we have two important Covid vaccine-related items and one from the office.
The State of Illinois now has a functioning website with all the resources needed to see where your nearest vaccine location is and even more importantly, the ability to link to the source to schedule a vaccine.
Here is the link for the overview page: https://coronavirus.illinois.gov/s/vaccine-plan-overview
Here is the link for the locations: https://coronavirus.illinois.gov/s/vaccination-location
For Kane County, here is the link for scheduling vaccines: https://www.kanehealth.com/Pages/Vaccine_Appointments.aspx
Due to the complexity of the type of freezer requirements and tracking capabilities for the current vaccines, I will be unable to vaccinate any patients in my office. This may change as vaccinations without strict cold/freeze requirements may be approved.
Today, our Governor announced new guidelines for the next phase of vaccinations for Covid. This will include more groups as outlined below as well as residents 65 and older. This will begin on January 25th.
Due to the pandemic, there have been many patients missing their annual wellness appointments and recommended screenings. Please call the office and make your appointments.
You may also email firstname.lastname@example.org with a date you are available to schedule; we are happy to help schedule your visit.
Have a good weekend.
